Hire Friday Chat: Building and Engaging Your Personal Brand

These days, searching for a job is about more than just sending out resumes. You need to build your personal brand – online. And, you need to connect with recruiters, hiring managers and others who may have a hand in the hiring process. In today’s world, you need to be more than a piece of paper. You need to be active online, building relationships and showcasing your talents and skills through interactive opportunities.

Whether you’re unemployed, in school or casually thinking about your next job, during this week’s Hire Friday Twitter chat (noon EST, Jan. 13, hashtag #HFChat), representatives from Sodexo USA will talk about the importance of building your personal brand through social media.
