Cool crisp mornings, the turning of leaves and football! Ever since I can remember fall has been my favorite season. During my childhood, fall was a favorite because it signaled back to school, new clothes, marching band, “Friday night lights” (high school football for those who may not be familiar with the phrase) and the beginning of the Dallas Cowboys football season. Now that I’m older, the reasons remain the same: weather, fashion (I have an obsession with boots and jackets) and football!
Professionally, fall signals development, which is my “back to school”. It’s that time of year we reflect on the past year’s successes and plan our career development for the coming year. Just as the changing leaves during this season boast a myriad of hues, Sodexo offers many different resources to help you transition into the professional you want to become.
What is your favorite thing about fall? Is it something that comes from some nostalgic place or is it the anticipation of something new and different? Why not incorporate both by reviewing the progression of your career and some strategies to continue your development.
“Friday night lights” has moved toSunday afternoon. Your favorite leather jacket has made the rotation to the front of the closet and you pull the rake out of the garage to amass a pile of leaves that beckons cannon ball dives from the neighborhood kids. Some favorites never change, no matter the season.
What is your favorite thing about fall?
