Our bags are packed, the trade show booth is en route and Sodexo representatives from around the country are ready to make an IMPACT at The American Dietetic Association’s Food and Nutrition Conference and Expo (FNCE)! We can’t wait to meet and network with more than 8,000 registered dietitians, nutrition science researchers, policy makers, health-care providers and industry leaders, all in one place. We look forward to engaging with attendees and continue to learn how to best support and lead the industry.
The top priority for many FNCE attendees is to take full advantage of the top-notch educational sessions covering the hottest topics, including obesity, alternative medicine, culinary trends, life-cycle nutrition and medical nutrition therapy. This year Sodexo is proud that two of our own presenting at FNCE as well.
Clinical Recruitment Team Manager and past ADA President Susan Laramee MS, RD, LDN, along with other members of the Commission on Dietetic Registration, will present Your Future is in Your Hands! Charting Your Career. The presentation will highlight insights from the 2011 Dietetics Workforce Demand Study and its implications for dietetics practitioners and the future of the dietetics profession.
Fellow team member, Senior Clinical Recruiter and Dietitian Mindi Gale will present Using Social Media for Job Searches, covering the myriad social media resources available and how to best leverage them to search for career opportunities. From Facebook to Twitter, and everything in between, students attending this session will learn how to use Social Media to find the company and/or job that is the right fit for them.
