I am a patient recovering from surgery. I am a college freshman grabbing a bite to eat. I am a soldier, working on base.
No client is identical to another. No customer is treated as just a number. We understand that profit will only be gained by ensuring that quality and care is our end result each and everyday. Whether it be a fifth grader who is allergic to peanuts or an athletic director in need of someone to maintain the school’s playing fields, our primary focus is the individual need.
I am returning to the workforce after raising my children. I have been here for fifteen years. I am an Army veteran.
No employee is identical to another. We come from different career paths, different personal histories. We are American and French, Russian and Turkish. We celebrate our own ethnicities and those of our co-workers through diversity groups. We recognize achievements of teammates who walked to raise money for cancer awareness or volunteered in a homeless shelter. We mentor teammates, inspiring them grow both personally and professionally.
I am pursuing a college education. I am coping with the loss of my father. I am planning for retirement.
Employees are given an expansive toolbox for what life has in store. From the time your baby is born, our benefits will help with everything from covering medical costs, to finding a daycare provider, to paying for college. Understanding that there will be more than one answer to your employees’ needs – that’s what drives an employer to the top of so many “best of” lists.
I am committed.
Making every day a better day – that’s our motto – but it’s not just about our clients, our customers, and our employees, but for all. We are leading the way to stopping hunger through canned food drives, volunteerism, and our Sodexo Foundation. We are examining ways to better protect the planet for generations to come through partnerships with our clients and our own internal initiatives.
I am a leader.
It’s for reasons like these that I chose to work here. I tell candidates everyday it’s ok if they have never heard of us before. We’re probably the largest company many people have never heard of before, but after learning about us and hearing all of the things we are, we will be THE company you want to work for.
I am Sodexo.
