Well, at least most of Sodexo's Talent Acquisition Team is on Twitter anyway.
I blogged about Sodexo's Twitosphere and how "twittastic" it was a few months ago as our team was just getting started with Twitter and now they have full on embraced twitter as another way to become a Sodexo brand ambassador. Thanks to Sodexo's tweeps, our "twaffic" has exploded. Sodexo's Talent Acquisition Team is actively "talking" with candidates across the country about their career opportunities on Twitter. Our recruiters are tweeting about jobs they are recruiting for because even though the economy is slow right now, Sodexo is still hiring. Sodexo's tweeps are also tweeting about initiatives they are working on or are involved with at Sodexo.
Many of our recruiting teams have joined forces and work together to coordinate their tweets - driving traffic to job postings, our microsites, our Careers blog, and our Sodexo Careers web site.
To encourage our team to stay active we also honor one person (sometimes a team) each week with the honor of "Most Valuable Tweeter" or MVT. The criteria for this honor includes creativity of tweets, number of retweets & click throughs, engagement, and their creative use of twitter as a recruiting tool. This week Senior Recruiter, and a member of Sodexo's Military Sourcing Team, Suzanne Thompson (@suzthompson) was our MVT. Suzanne provided a HUGE list of more than 300 active Military/Veteran related twitter profiles to help build our military related network. Suzanne’s tweets are consistently creative and informative identifying herself and others as Facilities Management recruiters.
